Site assessment & grading
We start by checking existing grades, downspouts, and drainage so water moves away from your home, not toward it.

Proper excavation
Organic material and soft soils are removed so we can build on a solid base—not topsoil. We excavate and remove 10 - 14 inches.

Deep, compacted base
We install a multi-layer road crush base, compacted every 3 inches, so your patio resists settling and Edmonton’s freeze–thaw cycles. We compact 6-9 inches of road crush to ensure your patio doesn't move.

Accurate slope & drainage
Patios are set with a subtle slope for surface water to drain, and we tie into swales, lawn, or drains so you’re not left with puddles.

Precision laying & cutting
We follow manufacturer patterns and cut stones cleanly around edges, features, and curves for a tight, custom look.

Edge restraints & jointing
